Boku, Inc. is the parent company of the Boku Group, which provides payment solutions globally. Any services offered to merchants are governed by the merchant agreement between the relevant Boku Group entity and the merchant.

Please note that, except as disclosed in Boku’s Terms of Service, Boku does not provide products or services directly to consumers. Boku operates as a payments network that facilitates transactions between global merchants and consumers.

Disclosure: Boku Network Services IN Pvt. Ltd. makes the following disclosures to merchants and merchant customers:

A. Settlement & Safeguarding of Funds: Boku Network Services IN Pvt. Ltd. ensures that merchant transactions are settled in compliance with the RBI’s Guidelines on Regulation of Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways. Funds received from consumers on behalf of merchants are processed through nodal or escrow accounts, as mandated by RBI, to ensure timely settlement.

B. Customer Grievance Redressal Mechanism: Merchants and consumers can raise complaints or queries through our Customer Grievance Redressal Policy, which provides clear resolution timelines and escalation mechanisms. C. Commingling of Funds: Merchants are advised that consumer payments may be pooled in a nodal or escrow account along with funds from other merchants before settlement. RBI guidelines ensure that such commingling is managed with appropriate safeguards, ensuring traceability and priority in case of disputes or insolvency.

D. Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks: In the event of disputes regarding transactions, merchants and consumers must follow the dispute resolution process outlined in RBI's Payment Aggregator framework. Chargebacks, refunds, and disputes will be handled as per merchant agreements and applicable regulations.
