Boku is a truly global company that takes pride in its diversity and thriving equal opportunity workplace.</p></div><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p> <ul> <li>We are looking for a seasoned Engineering  Manager for the Developer Platform team whose mission is to empower our engineering organization to build with speed, quality, and security. You will partner with infrastructure and product engineering teams on the journey to build out a CI/CD pipeline and automation test framework for our QAs and developers, accelerate the path for launching new products and services, and solve the developer pain points of operating hundreds of microservices. As the manager, you will get an opportunity to envision, influence, and create a great experience for developers at Boku. We work in a hybrid environment with the flexibility to work from home or office as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>People Leader – You care about your engineers and are passionate about growing your team and building new leaders for Boku</li> <li>Hands-on Technical Leader – You are excited to roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team members. This role will require 10-20% hands-on technical work.</li> <li>Growth-minded – You are curious and enthusiastic about expanding your skills.</li> <li>Empathetic – You lead with empathy, willing to seek and listen patiently to the feedback of our developers.</li> <li>Business-minded – You are interested to understand how the business works and how Technology can fit in the context of the business.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Building tools, frameworks, and infrastructure that creates secure and productive development experience for the rest of Boku Engineering teams.</li> <li>Recruiting, hiring, motivating and retaining high performing Software Engineers in the team.</li> <li>Partner effectively with other engineering teams and stakeholders to gather feedback and improve the internal developer experience.</li> <li>Champion continuous improvement, implementing new tools and processes to increase team productivity and efficiency.</li> <li>Define the roadmap for the DevPlatform team, aligning it with the company's overall technology strategy and business goals.</li> <li>Be part of a weekly Platform on-call rotation to ensure platform stability and reliability.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of relevant engineering work experience and 2+ years of management experience.</li> <li>Able to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and explain technical design, best practices, and integration guide to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins), automation tools, cloud platforms, containerized microservices architecture, and developer experience best practices.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>SALARY</strong></p> <p>Annual Base salary: $200,000 - $230,000<br>Please note: This is an exempt position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.</p>
